How to Contact the Illinois Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program

The Illinois Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program (LTCOP) is a program offered by the Illinois Department on Aging. It works to protect the rights of residents in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities.

The LTCOP empowers members in these facilities to take a self-directed approach to care. It also helps with issues members, or their families, have with these care settings.
